Enterprise Europe Network and KAPDAA

The former EU Commissioner Günter Verheugen launched the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which combines the previous Euro Info Centres and the Innovation Relay Centres. Under the responsibility of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, the Enterprise Europe Network is managed by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME).

Launched in 2008, the Enterprise Europe Network is a part of Innovate UK’s family of connecting services. Active in more than 60 countries worldwide, the EEN is responsible for gathering 3,000 experts, all renowned for their excellence in their own fields of business. A medium for international innovative growth for Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), it is one of the world’s largest support networks for businesses with international ambition.

Kapdaa being a growing sustainable business, it was a perfect match!

They were intrigued by the unique concept that drives our business and were more than happy to have us on board. For us it was a great opportunity to be able to work with EEN and Newable. It opened doors for us which otherwise would’ve been a challenging and prolonged task for a sustainable business of our sort. From providing us with guidance in mapping the future landmarks for our growth, to pointing out the right direction we need to move in, working with them has been more than beneficial to us.

A case study was made on Kapdaa, where our Co-founder Nish, was asked to talk about our journey and what challenges are faced as a small sustainable company. Having all this recorded helped us quantify it. We are extremely proud to share the video with you!

The recognition received from EEN, the world’s biggest innovation support network, was a milestone moment for us! The concept of sustainability and sustainable businesses being considered as profitable helps in breaking the misconception that numerous people have about them being charity driven.
