LEGO Commits to Sustainable Packaging

It is indeed admirable to see a company like Lego, which has been around for nearly 80 years and as the article states to have successfully outlasted tons of toy trends, to keep up with the times. 

In keeping with the consumers demand for sustainable products, not only are they prioritising renewable, efficient and recyclable materials but have now announced a goal of 100% sustainable packaging by 2025.

We applaud this effort.  As for us here at Kapdaa, our endeavour is constant research into sustainable solutions. For instance we are working towards the use of biodegradable plastic, naturally created ink, seeded paper to name a few. Our vision is to use offcuts/waste material to create day to day product so we do not have to create new material for it which also helps reduce the strain on our natural resources.
